‘Luxurious Corners’ is Attia Taylor’s first release with earSnake. It is a musical exploration of the brain and mental illness. The six song EP features songs that explore how illness can birth light from dark corners. Attia’s experiences over the past year blossomed the 6 tracks into sounds of pain and the luxury of enhanced emotions.

Sonically, ‘Luxurious Corners’ is an expansion the experimental lofi sounds that Attia has been crafting for over the past three years. These songs are at their core catchy synth bedroom pop. Within their sparkle; however, these songs leave dark clues. Attia’s lyrics are at times a stark contrast to the song’s melodic sweetness. Gemini Wolf (Mikronesia and Pandar) produced these tracks, leaving a dark and delicate varnish on these well crafted pop songs.

Attia Taylor’s trademark sparse sound is now paired with exploding colors as sounds of horns, strings, percussion and percolating electronic beds frame the ever sweet and haunting vocals that guide the listener through the far reaches of ‘Luxurious Corners’.
